Requirements
UnwrellaConnect has standard hardware and software requirements.
In order to use UnwrellaConnect you need the following:
- Blender version 4.2 or later (Free download here)
- UnwrellaConnect Extension (Free download here)
And one of the following:
- Unwrella-IO (More information here) - for unwrapping and uv-packing
or
- Packer-IO (Free download here) - for uv packing only
While UnwrellaConnect is free to use, it does not function on its own — it requires either Unwrella-IO or Packer-IO to perform UV operations.

UV Packing (Free): When used with the free Packer-IO, UnwrellaConnect offers full UV packing functionality without any limitations.

UV Unwrapping (Commercial): Unwrapping features require the commercial Unwrella-IO application.
Note on the Unwrella-IO Demo Version
The Demo version of Unwrella-IO cannot be used with UnwrellaConnect.
To see how Unwrella-IO works and what results you can expect, simply download the Unwrella-IO demo, import your models from Blender, and use it to unwrap and pack your UVs.
We strongly recommend downloading the demo and testing it with your own setup to ensure full compatibility before purchasing the commercial version.
