Licensing

Licensing

In the Preferences Widget, under the “License” tab, you will find all settings and information related to your license.

All our products use a mobile license, allowing you to transfer it between computers worldwide. Activation and deactivation are seamless, requiring only a simple click. A web connection or a USB stick is needed for the transfer process.

Unwrella-IO can be installed on an unlimited number of computers. However, if you own a single-seat license, it can only be used on one device at a time.

You can easily transfer your license between computers with a single click. For detailed instructions on how to do this, please refer to the explanations provided in this section.

Licensing Process

First Run

After purchasing and installing the software, Unwrella-IO must be activated upon first launch. A “License Activation” widget will appear, covering the viewport. Simply press the “Activate” button to complete the activation process. Once activated, you will have full access to all features of the application. If this step does not work, please refer to the Troubleshooting section of this documentation.

Activating and Deactivating License

Unwrella-IO mobile licensing system allows you to activate and deactive your license anytime and anywhere, making it possible to transfer it with a single click.

In this section, we will guide you through the simple steps to deactivate your license and reactivate it — either on the same computer or on a different one.

Step 1

Locate the License Tab in the Preferences of Unwrella-IO left sidebar.

Step 2

If you want to deactivate your license—for example, to lock your office workstation or free it up for use on your laptop at home — simply click the “DEACTIVATE” button.
If an internet connection is available and Unwrella-IO is not blocked by a firewall, the deactivation will be processed instantly.

Step 3

Start Unwrella-IO on another computer, where you will see the License Activation widget with the “ACTIVATE” button. Since your license was released from the previous computer, you can now activate it on the new one.
You can repeat this process as many times as needed.
Tip: Before heading to work the next day, don’t forget to deactivate the license on your laptop to avoid having to return home to do so.

If you encounter any issues with licensing, please refer to the Troubleshooting section of this documentation for assistance.
