Flatiron Modifier

All user interaction in Flatiron is handled through the Flatiron utility panel.

During the preparation process, Flatiron automatically adds a Flatiron Modifier to objects that are being unwrapped and prepared for baking. Flatiron Plugin

Purpose

The Flatiron Modifier provides a read-only overview of the object’s baking context, including:

  • Assigned bake groups
  • Participation in the current baking setup

Behavior

  • The modifier is automatically added by Flatiron
  • It does not provide direct user interaction
  • It serves as an informational layer only within the modifier stack

All operations—such as UV generation, packing, and group management—are performed exclusively through the Flatiron utility panel, not within the modifier itself.
